Attendance Policy
After the assessment, if we agree to begin psychotherapy, I will usually schedule one or two sessions per week, at a time we agree on.
If for some reason, you are unable to make it to the scheduled session, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. Otherwise, a full rate of the session fee will be charged.
Confidential Policy
The law protects the relationship between a client and psychotherapist. Any information cannot be disclosed without written permission.
The exceptions of the laws include:
- If a client intends to harm him/herself, I will make every effort to ensure their safety. If they are unable to cooperate, I will have to take further measures without their permission that are provided to my by law in order to ensure their safety.
- Suspected child abuse, domestic violence or elder abuse. I am bound by law to report this to the appropriate authorities.
